The troubleshooting steps below apply only to our printed textbook videos that come on a CD in Flash format.

If you are using Firefox, recent versions of that browser will block Adobe Flash content by default (even content that is known to be safe, like ours). To un-block Flash content from at CD, follow the steps below.

  1. From your Firefox window, pull down the hamburger menu and select "Add-ons".

  2. Click on "Options" to the right of Shockwave Flash

    3. Firefox 2

  3. Un-check this box:

    4. Firefox 3

There is nothing dangerous / intrusive about our Flash content, but this setting seems to block all CD content when enabled. You can leave the overall Flash plug-in as "Ask to Activate" if you do not want Flash running freely when you visit other websites.
