CompuScholar's Computer Science Foundations curriculum is now endorsed by the College Board for AP Computer Science Principles. What does it all mean? It's now even easier for homeschool teachers to complete the AP Course Audit and officially list the course as "AP" on your transcript.

Using an Endorsed Provider affords schools access to resources including an AP CSP syllabus pre-approved by the College Board’s AP Course Audit, and officially recognized professional development that prepares teachers to teach AP CSP. This endorsement affirms only that components of the Endorsed Provider’s offerings are aligned to all the AP Curriculum Framework standards and the AP CSP assessment."
Simply stated, using an endorsed provider, like CompuScholar, gives you confidence that a curriculum covers all parts of the AP CSP exam requirements.
COMPUTER SCIENCE FOUNDATIONS SUPPORT FOR AP CSP
In addition to covering all of the skill requirements for AP CSP, our course contains specific guidance on how to successfully take the AP CSP exam and complete the required programming task.

WHAT'S NEW IN THE COURSE AUDIT?
Previously, we published a Computer Science Foundations course syllabus that had been reviewed by the College Board and given an approved syllabus#. Teachers could then "claim identical" to that syllabus# as part of the Course Audit.
Now, as an endorsed provider, you no longer need to "Claim identical" to a syllabus#. Simply select the endorsed provider option during the Course Audit and select CompuScholar's curriculum from the endorsement list.
Our syllabus has not changed in any significant way; it is now simply automated as part of the endorsed provider list at the College Board's website.
